Starboard Engine is leaking what appears to be fuel from the side exit in to the sea water (a little sheen). No decrease in oil. I checked the trans cooler, it's okay. No decrease in antifreeze in Exchanger. I noticed that the starboard engine is going through more fuel on the gauges (recently took a long trip and noticed it).. Runs good, (600 idle rpm in gear) able to plane & cruise but did not make rated WOT ROM (4800), was about 4300... but I didn't clean the bottom in a few years, so not sure.. Maybe stuck open fuel injector? Any ideas? Bad Fuel cooler?

We had 454s on the 370 Express that we bought new in 1993. We owned that boat for 11 years. On start up we always blew a tiney amount gasoline out the exhausts. It was a miniscul amount, but left a small shean and you could smell gas. The boat always ran nicely and used not a drop of oil. We came to accept it as normal. Those engines had four barrel carbs which worked well but may have contributed in some way to the issue.

Thanks, but it does continue after startup.. Not much, but enough to notice it. Only on one engine..

Fuel injector comes to mind as a leaky injector in a car can cause gasoline in the exhaust. Color of exhaust could offer a clue if there is black smoke suggesting too rich a mixture and incomplete combustion.
