Friday-perfect boating day

[Gettin' There II]

It doesn't get any better then this. Bays and coastal waterways smooth, wind less then 5 knots, tide is rising.
Had to go out, took an extended lunch break and launched form Navarre Beach boat ramp and cruised to Pensacola Beach via the ICW.
Thought I would share some pics.

Nice pics. Thanks for sharing. We went out Fri afternoon as well. We backed in against our barrier island where I jumped in to set the stern anchors (waiste deep after crawling over the dinghy). We watched sunset and enjoyed some sushi, then off to a couple of sail boats anchored near by for some dinner, drinks, and card games. What a great day.

Sat was windy and cold. We went back to the dock around noon for the 43 test drive.

Hampton, it was your pics that motivated me to post some. Keep trying to get down to your marina. Plan on towing to it this summer and exploring your neck of the woods.
