SO after winterization last year there was some water still in the inlet valve / regulator and water would leak back out thru the check valve portion, dribbling out onto the swim platform. Unfortunately the replacement assembly is larger than the original. I had an adjustable hole cutter like this:
But I needed a way to place the center drill bit into the center of the hole.
This is what I came up with:
I needed that bit of wire in order to push the device into the original hole and then hold it against the inside while screwing it in place using the original mounting holes.
Here's my little rig in place after cutting out the larger hole:
The new replacement fit just perfectly......
