Fresh Water Jellyfish Allatoona

We had an impromptu raft up this week end and found Jellyfish in the lake. I've been on this lake my entire life and have never seen one before this weekend.

We saw a fresh water jellyfish in Lake Allatoona today as well. It was a cute little thing!

They have those cute little ones in Australia that will take you out if they sting you. No bigger than the size of a fingernail. Hope these are not from the same family.:wow::wow:

In what part of the lake did you find the offensive little rascals?

We were in a cove near the Red Top Mountain Lodge. We saw it around 4 in the afternoon. It was about the size of a half dollar.
