Forward Hatch Replacement

Hey guys, my '88 Sea Ray 268 has two 12" square hatches on the bow up front. They are leaking. I have applied silicone all around the glass, but they still leak. Should I try reseating them in silicone? I have looked for replacement 12" hatches, but I cannot find ANY in the 12" range...only 16". Did they stop making 12" hatches? What a pain in the butt this is!

Yeah, good luck with finding factory hatches. If you are extraordinarily lucky, you might find a boneyard boat that still has good ones on it. When someone does have them for sale on fleabay, they go for the price of gold. Whatever you do, if you decide to re-bed the frames, use marine grade adhesives, not bathroom silicone. You will be right back to square one next season. Good luck!
