Does the mirror in the forward cabin open where the rope locker is located? If so, how?

Also, has anyone made a hatch on top to make an anchor locker?

Some of the mirrors do open, yes. I don't recall specifically on your boat - but easy enough to figure out. Try it. It would be hinged at the top. You can tell if it's hinged or not by how attached it "feels". But if you're saying that you don't have an access hatch on the deck then I think you answered your own question
