After a long a wonderful relationship with our beloved 340, my wife and I have decided it's finally time to start our search for the next Sea Ray. As many members have seen first hand, this is a very unique and extremely well maintained / updated 340. My blog lists much of the work that was done to this boat over the last few years, but is by no means a complete chronicle of the work that was done. The phrase: "must be seen to be appreciated" is certainly overused in the boat marketplace, but in this case, it is an understatement. A partial list includes:

New engines
New transmissions
New ACME 4 blade props
Spare 4 Blade propscanned props
New dripless seals
Dripless Tides rudder seals (nice - no packing!)
Simrad autopilot
Simrad HD open array radar
Simrad 8" MFD
Complete custom sound system with MB Quart / JL components
HD TV w/ DVD Player
New Westerbeke 5.0 kw generator
All new hoses and wiring
Pronautic 40 amp battery charger / maintainer
New 12 gallon HWH
All new sanitation system components
LED Lighting
LED switch indicators throughout
FOG Horn controller
Remote sub level controller
New canvas / Isinglass
Synthetic teak decking
Hardwood floors

And much much more.

Also, all maintenance is up to date - and I do mean all.

This is a turn key boat that needs nothing, and is ready to go.

I welcome any and all questions concerning this vessel DSC_0649.jpgDSC_0655.jpgDSC_0663.jpgDSC_0665.jpgDSC_0671.jpgDSC_0843.jpgDSC_0845.jpgDSC_0847.jpgDSC_0852.jpgDSC_0861.jpgDSC_0870.jpgDSC_0871.jpgDSC_0873.jpgDSC_0877.jpgDSC_0882.jpg. Also, many CSR members have been on the boat, both at the dock and underway, and hopefully they will chime in with their experiences. I'm asking $88,900.

I want to be the first! I was fortunate to ride on Mustang from the George Washington Bridge to Atlantic City and back a few years ago. This must be the nicest, fastest, best riding 340DA of its vintage anywhere. Whoever ends up with this boat is getting a better than factory model. Everything is in perfect working order and anally maintained (sorry Dale). If you are in the market for an early 2000's 340, buy this boat!

That is really one gorgeous looking boat. The EC is immaculate! Very impressive. Good luck on the sale.

I have been on it and given the tour by Dale. It is exactly as described, better than new and you won't find another one better.

That boat looks fabulous. Your attention to detail is apparent.

very fair price also,

Good luck with the search,

Mark

The cabin floor is real hardwood - hickory to be exact. The hatches for the storage locker are new, fabricated to fit the openings precisely. The trim around each hatch is solid teak, milled to fit.

And I did forget the oil change system!
And the 5 AGM batteries.
And the custom built-in blender / food processor.
And the teak doors in the head.
And the new dual trumpet horns
And the remote subwoofer level control

Damn, I must be getting forgetful.......

Dale,

Quick question on something I saw in the pics. The input/ouput line on the Reverso system is going up. All I could guess is either you store it up high out of the picture - or - that you have it going up to have cockpit access.

Knowing how meticulous you are, I know it's not accidental, that you have a specific reason.

Thanks,

Mark

Mark,

I do indeed. The discharge line from the Reverso is a silicone hose that is coiled up on a bracket mounted to the underside of the deck. I made a polished aluminum plug for the end of that line in my lathe. So, when you want to use the system, you just uncoil the hose, remove the plug, and place the hose into a waste oil container. When the fluid change is complete, slide the plug back into the line, and coil it back up on the bracket. That way, the hose is always ready, and it never drips (I can't tolerate drips).

Thanks Dale for the explanation.

Once again - your attention to details is outstanding. Someone is going to wind up with a spectacular boat.

The pictures show the cleanliness & beauty. The blog told us the details. C.N. Ray himself would be proud. I hope you don't have to take a penny less than you are asking.

Thanks for all the posts. I have learned a lot by following. Now if I could just squeeze another $50k out of the boat account!

Whatever you get for THAT boat, it's not enough. Beautiful.

Outstanding looks better than new! So now what are you still in the market for a 450?

Hope you and the Mrs are well,
Tommy and Beth

Fantastic looking boat! Good luck with the sale.

If your selling that beauty I can only imagine what your getting next. Good luck with the sale...you won't need it though. She will sell fast!

Oh come on everyone. Stop gushing about this boat. Clearly you're not looking at the pictures very closely. For example, take a look at the first picture. Notice the towel below the sink? It's WAY OFF CENTER on the towel bar. Not to mention the air freshener on the table might be a 1/2" off center, too. It's that kind of LACK of attention to detail really would make me hesitate about a boat like this. :smt043 Other than those issues, MAYBE this boat is OK!

Seriously though, I am amazed at just how beautiful this boat is, and it's pristine condition is amazing. I love seeing boats like this! Well done, Dale! :smt038
