1979 SeaRay SRV 24ft Cuddy
Engines
Mercrusier 5.7
Alpha1 Gen 1
This is a 1979 / 24ft SeaRay Cuddy Cabin with a 5.7L/Chevy350, 260Hp motor coupled
to an Alpha 1 / Generation 1 / 50.1 Out drive. It sits on a 24ft double axle Gator Trailer.
This trailer is solid with only the surge actuator and brake lines left to replace for this
complete trailer restoration project. I removed all the rotted brake lines and refurbished
the drums as free floating axles. I removed / cleaned / and measured each drum and ordered
the exact inner and outer hub bearings according to wear. Replaced all the non working
running lights as well as a new hand crank boat winch. It has 4 newer tires with very
good tread. This trailer is not tagged due to the brake situation. It will be included in
the purchase of the boat with the knowledge of what's left to be restored. I bought this
boat 3 years ago as a restoration project for the family. It has come a long way and has
been in use for the past 2 summers as our family boat. This boat came with the stern
area gutted, no motor hatch with a locked up lower outdrive, bad wiring and no seats.
I have been restoring this boat for the last 3 years as time and money allows.

The boat needs....

Trim Tilt Pump (used-$125.00) **Purchased but not installed**
Brakes for the trailer
Hull Gel-coat Buffed
Cuddy Upgrade Restoration From 70's Decor
Deck Seating (Helm Chair is Included)

The motor has been gone over including....

Replaced Power steering pump and pulleys
New fuel oil/ water separator
New battery
Replaced lower outdrive with a rebuilt 50.1 ratio Alpha 1 Gen 1 outdrive
New water pump/impeller
Replaced and rewired non/working nav lights
Completely rewired the boats electrical system
Upgraded to an auto flat fuse bar system
Fabricated a new aluminum dashboard and wrapped it in black marine vinyl
Pulled 70 gal fuel tank / flushed and replaced check valve.
Basic quadrajet Carb tune up with new vacuum advance
Fabricated rear motor cover, hatch and stern area

The time has come where I need some cash and wanted to pass this great project
along to someone that wants to finish the restoration and have a great fishing or
family boat.

I have over $5400.00 dollars in restoration, not including the purchase price, and
many hours in this project so far. The boat is at my work in Delaware City, Delaware
and is 300 yards for the public boat ramp. Your welcome to come and look it over
during business hours or you can make an appointment to see it after hours. My power
trim tilt motor went out on me at the end of the season. I have purchased a used trim
motor but haven't had tome to replace it. I have many pictures of the boat and some
of the restoration process. If you want to see more pictures, Send me an Email and I'll
send you the link.

The price for the complete boat package is $3800.00 for everything, which includes.....

All Life Jackets
Flair Kit
Floatation Cushions
Handheld VHF Radio
Mooring Lines
Docking Fenders
Anchor
2 Person Rafting Tube

If your interested, email me to set an appointment and
come by to see it.

Thanks,

John
