Hey Guys. I have Horizon 350 MAG MPI FWC engines. I normally flush engines through the built in flush connections after closing the sea cocks as per manual. I want to start flushing with Saltaway. My question is: since Saltaway works in salt water as well, can i not close the seacocks and still flush the saltaway through or is there a problem with having two water sources feeding the pump at the same time? This would save a lot of aggravation by avoiding opening the hatch and getting into the bilge to close the valves each time.

My vote is to follow the manual.
If you don't close the "sea cocks", you may run into poor flushing.
Sorry, but we are pumping too much crap into our oceans. I stick to fresh water flushing and service my manifolds and risers as per the "manual" as well.
