Florida Kite Surfer Killed By Sharks

I was in Pompano two weeks ago for a week of diving on the local wrecks. This happened not to far north of there. In between the two towns, in Boyton, at this time of year there is some kind of shark migration/mating thing going on. There were reports of a few Bull Sharks in our area, but I didn't see any...I'm sure they saw me though....

Every time you come to the surface, or while you are doing your deco stops or safety stops in 15 feet of water, or after the dive and you are on the surface waiting for the dive boat to pick you up.....somehow you just can't help getting the feeling that you are 'On the Menu"....

I confess I feel like a top water lure at times

A company in the San Franciso that specializes in showing people sharks pulls a boogie board behind the boat to bring them to the surface.
