Well after a week I found the problem with the A/C, it was the Genarator. It's only putting out 100, instead of the needed 125. Can anyone help me figure out why this might be? Again it was working find before the boat was pulled for the survey

Find a laser tach and check the speed and compare to spec.

By way of example, a gas Westerbeke is an 1800 rpm generator. When it is at 1800 rpm and the wires in the control panel are connected correctly, it puts out 120 volts. Lower speed=lower voltage.

Your AC will cut out if the voltage is too low. I think it shows a LO or PO on the panel when the voltage is low.

A Westerbeke tech is due to be at the boat late tomorrow, this problem is out of my league. I just need it fixed, I want to bring the boat home next week. Why does all this happen the day you pay them off
