Can you guys recommend which harbor is better to spend the night? Should I look for a mooring in the main harbor (west harbor) or just drop a hook? Any POIs not to miss in the area?

Alex, there are limited moorings available controlled by the yacht club and are free. Not much room to anchor, if you anchor stay out at Flat Hammock, right outside the harbor entrance with good protection but the mooring is best. There is not much to see on the island, one small restaurant/bar called the Pequot House and it's a bit of a walk. I can explain the best way to get there if you are interested but you are going to have to walk across the dock, ask and I will tell you in person.
