Fisher Island

Anyone ever been to Fisher Island? Saw a Marina there is available on Dockwa... Was thinking about maybe checking it out... Any info on it would be appreciated...

I read an article it's a playground for some big time families...

We've anchored in the harbor there several times, while on our way to the MV islands or back. Very nice spot with cute small island nearby. We never went on land, but have heard that it's very private with not much to offer for transients or within close distance to the marina.

Do you have an advanced reservation? This weekend is a FOWH event and the marina will be pretty busy. Stop over, we will be in D1 (not that my boat is easy to miss). Looking forward to seeing you and Donna (and Miss Paisley).

Not much to do on Fishers Island, it's mostly residential. Unless you know a member, even playing golf at Fishers Island Club is off limits. There are much better ports not far from there.

The Pequot house is there.....not much else - most of the island is gated off
