First Time Sea Ray owners

We just recently acquired a 2006 44 DB , our first "big boat" , looking forward to many enjoyable hours aboard this adventure vessel . Our home port is Nanaimo, BC. We plan to mostly stick to the local waters before venturing to far North or South. I am sure that I will have many questions for the board. Enjoy reading about others adventures and really enjoy the tech-tips and maintenance related questions. Happy boating everyone....Mike

Congrats Mike, and welcome from 3 months ago. Ya live in one of the best cruising areas in the world. We lived in Lantzville when we were younger and had a trailer boat. Where ya moored? Oh, and I looked everywhere for pictures, you must've hidden them real good !!! :grin: I guess a lot has changed in Nanaimo in the last 30 years, when we were there we had only one option for moorage and were on the waiting list the whole time we lived there. Tried mooring in Ladysmith for a couple of years but it was too far to go just for a couple o' cold ones every now and then. Enjoy your new ride.
