First Time Boat Owner

We just bought a home on Lake Winnipesaukee in NH and acquired our first boat, a 1998 Sea Ray 210 Signature. Boat was owned by an older woman for most of her life who, unfortunately, can no longer enjoy it. This was a great ‘right place, right time’ situation and we couldn’t be happier. Boat sat for most of the season so yesterday was full detail day. Adding some before and after pics:

Nice boat! You're going to have a blast with that thing. I spent most of my younger years on boats like that. Yours is nicer, though.

I often wish I had one like that in addition to my boat. I miss being able to get out there and be sporty. Mine's like pseudo sporty. It can do it, but it's like driving a fast school bus that drinks fuel like that beer chugging old guy on the Man's Show.

Up north you will find a real appreciation for the front curtains added to the Bimini top. Blocking the cold wind and water spray will make boating in colder months before the lake freezes more palatable.

You picked a really nice first boat. Get out there and enjoy it while you can before winter is upon us.

Thanks everyone! Yeah, this one is a treat for sure. I was able to secure the same storage arrangements she had for this boat and the same marina has done all the service since new. I’m a car guy with a need for vehicle history, so that played right into my wheelhouse. I plan on taking a bunch more pics tomorrow when it’s nice. For now it’s my wife and I sitting inside with coffee, rain and a new boat to stare at on the end of the dock
