After cleaning, sanding, staining, pin stripe removing, buffing and fixing for the last month, I thought that the day was finally right to take the boat for a test drive. What a beautiful day on the water, 70 degrees in October is something that Wisconsinites need to take advantage of. IMG-20111003-00046.jpg

Congrats on the splash, shes a great looking boat, best of luck with her!!

Very clean looking boat. Do you have any more photos from the day. Also did you take her out for your maiden voyage?

That's the only photo that I took yesterday, I wish that I would have taken more, the weather was beautiful here in Wisconsin. The picture below is just before I loaded it on the trailer for the first time. Yesterday was my maiden voyage on the boat, other than the sea trial. IMG-20110906-00040.jpg

Looking good... glad to see another classic on CSR... more pics when you get to it...

I agree, The boat looks good. I have a 1988 270, same color scheme. She looks like nice but yours looks really good. We need more pics.

Ditto's the boat looks great. What pond you on? Lake Winnebago. Hope you get out tomorrow looks like 80 degrees in the badger state. You need to improve your carbon foot print.

Thanks for the compliments, it makes all of the work worthwhile. I am on Winnebago for the time being, Next year the boat will be kept in Sheboygan for most of the summer. I'm planning on being on the boat all weekend! Next weekend we're pulling it out and trailering up to Sturgeon bay then running up to Sister Bay for the fall festival. I think that might be it for the year then. I see that you're in Milwaukee, what harbor? I just picked my boat up from Mckinley in early September.

Congratulations. Looks very nice !!

I can relate to your good work as we have spent the summer doing much the same on our 300 express. Other than our different colour scheme the boats could be twins.

Thanks for the compliment. Lots of elbow grease as you know. I tried attaching pics again however the file is too big and I do not know how to reduce the size. I could email if you wish to give me your address.
Thanks
Ken
