Hello to all the fellow sea ray'rs,

I just purchased a 300 srv sedan bridge. Its a 76. the survey checked out and the boat is in sound condition. I have the VIN# of the engines. What do I do with these? Is there a website that can tell me something about them? Its Mericruiser 225...does anyone know of a website or manuals that could help me out?

Here's a start:

You'll find some information about your model in here. It's fun to see the old brochures. Some of the newer boats have owners manuals available as well. I'm not sure they are available in '76?

Merc might be able to help you on their website. If not, there are some other websites available. I'm not familiar with all of them, but the information is out there on the web! Someone will chime in with it!

Welcome to Club Sea Ray!

Welcom to the 300 club.not quite the 700 club as seen on tv (WHEW!) but a lot more fun.

Welcome aboard.

We are headed your way next week. Spending a few days camping on Hunting Island. Do you have any recommended "must sees" or "must eats"? We have been to Charleston before but it has been a while.

Good luck and have fun.

Welcome!

The serial numbers are important when you need parts. If you go to a Mercruiser parts department, they will ask you for the serial numbers before looking up anything. If you look online for parts, they will most likely be referenced to a range of serial numbers, so write 'em down and keep them handy!

Good Luck!
