First post..looking at a 440 express bridge

I'm a commuter from Sacramento to downtown San Francisco. It's 2.5 to 3 hrs in traffic each way so I rent a place in SF during the week and go home on fri night. My rental situation is going away at the end of the year so I'm looking for a boat and a slip instead of renting again.

i have a lead on a 1998 express bridge. Anything special I should be looking for? Does this particular model have any issues?

Caterpillar 3116 and 3126 are great engines. Just do your due diligence and have them thoroughly surveyed by a Caterpillar mechanic.
