It's been four months since I started my boat. This is the longest I have ever waited between cranks.... However, everytime I fill up I put Sta-bil in the tank.

Any tips that may save my battery life other than the typical (1) pump to activate the choke routine?

How about a battery charger or battery tender to keep some juice in it while it's not being used? How about one of those portable jump starters?

I am not so much worried about the battery as I am for getting the engine cranked easier

Mine is always take longer to start the first time, I turn on, give a few seconds for the electric pump to fill the carb, give three pumps and maybe it will start, usually takes a second try with one more pump there. I don't know maybe the pump does not run until I hit start, can't hear with the alarm squealing, so it takes a spin to fill the carb and then it starts. It always seems to start on the second try now. Use it let it sit overnight and it will probably start without a pump, just move the throttle lever enough to set the choke.

She fired right up. I just pumped it two more times following the first pump to set the choke.

If my boat is going to sit more then a month, I connect a battery tender plus to it and over the winter I pull the battery all together and connect the tender to in in the house.
