Fireworks schedules: Celebrate the Fourth with a bang!

4th of July celebrations are taking place all over the Bay Area. Bradenton Beach: Fireworks and barbeque. A spectacular 45- minute fireworks display will be shot from a barge in the water. Plenty of BBQ and drinks. Tuesday, July 3.

Brandon: Brandon Blast, featuring music and fireworks. Wednesday, July 4 at Westfield Brandon, 459 Brandon Town Center. Fireworks at 9:00 p.m., and the event is free.

Clearwater: Clearwater Celebrates America, presented by the Clearwater Parks and Recreation Department. Fireworks at 9:00 on July 4, crafts, activities for the kids, food, and music, including a performance by FOX 13's John Wilson, his wife Mary K., and son Paul at 7:30 p.m. Gates open at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 3 and 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 4. Coachman Park, 301 Drew Street in Clearwater. Free.

Dade City: Sparklebration. Includes entertainment, a kid's carnival, animals, food-eating contests, and fireworks at 9:15 p.m. Events start at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 4 at the Pasco County Fairgrounds, 36722 State Road 52. $3 for adults, ages 10 and under free. Parking is $5.

Dunedin: Music, food, and fireworks starting at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, July 3 at Knology Park, 373 Douglas Avenue. Fireworks at 9:30 p.m. Free.

Inverness: Patriotic Evening Festival featuring entertainment, activities for children, food, and fireworks at dusk. Tuesday, July 3 at Wallace Brooks Park, 399 E. Dampier Street and at Liberty Park on Lake Henderson near downtown. Free.

Gulfport: Fourth of July celebration includes children's activities, a kids' Star-Spangled Fishing Derby, a sandcastle contest, crafts, food, music, a parade at 6:00 p.m., and fireworks at 9:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 4 in downtown Gulfport's waterfront district and Gulfport Beach. The event is free.

Lakeland: Fireworks after the game. There will be a dazzling display of fireworks at 9:00 p.m. July 4 following a Lakeland Flying Tigers Baseball game. Tickets for the baseball game are $5 adults and $4 for children 14 and under. Seniors 55 and over are $4. Parking at the stadium is free.

Largo: Festivities include music and fireworks. Wednesday, July 4 from 6:00 to 10:00 p.m. at Largo Central park, 101 Central Park Drive. Free parking shuttles from Largo High School and the Pinellas County School Board building. The event is also free.

Madeira Beach: Fireworks on Wednesday, July 4 at 9:00 p.m. Can be seen from city hall, the recreation area, American Legion Drive, Madeira Shopping Plaza, and Madeira Beach Middle School. Free.

New Port Richey: Main Street Blast. Features music, car show, Miss Firecracker contest, food vendors and fireworks at dark. Saturday, June 30, 4-11 p.m., along Main Street in downtown New Port Richey. Cost $2.

Palmetto: Fourth of July Celebration. Celebrate along the Palmetto Riverfront with live entertainment, food for all tastes and fireworks. Festivities start at 3 p.m. on July 4 with fireworks scheduled for 9 p.m. Free admission.

Pinellas Park: Freedom Fest. Features Christian recording artist Mark Schultz. Kids' activities and fireworks. Tuesday, July 3, 6:00 to 9:30 p.m. at Town Square Plaza Park, 5010 81st Avenue North. Free.

Plant City: Bill Heard July 4th Celebration. Festivities include entertainment, food, activities for kids, and fireworks. Wednesday, July 4 from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the Plant City Stadium on E. Park Road. Free admission, parking is $3.

Redington Shores: Redington Fireworks Extravaganza at Redington Shores Beach Access, 182nd Avenue West and Gulf Boulevard. Fireworks starts at dusk. Free.

Safety Harbor: Festival and Fireworks. Celebrate the 4th in Safety Harbor with family activities, crafts, music, food, and fireworks. Wednesday, July 4 from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. along Bayshore Boulevard at the City Marina. Free.

Sarasota: A tropical 4th of July celebration at Marie Selby Botanical Gardens. Wednesday, July 4 starting at 6:00 p.m. Includes live Zydeco music, children's games and activities, food, and fireworks at nightfall. Located at 900 South Palm Avenue. Tickets are $15 for members, $18 for non-members, and children 12 and under are free.

St. Petersburg: Fourth of July at the Pier, with music, family fun, and fireworks over Spa Beach Park at 9:00 p.m. Festivities start at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 4. The Pier, 800 Second Avenue NE. Free.

First Annual 4th of July community band concert at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 4 at the Mahaffey Theatre, 400 1st Street South. Blanket seating, refreshments, and views of the St. Petersburg fireworks. Free.

The City of St. Petersburg's July 4th celebration in North Straub Park. Family activities, food, and fun starting at 4:00 p.m. Bayshore Drive and 5th Avenue NE. Free.

Fourth of July bash at Baywalk, 2nd Avenue and 2nd Street North on Wednesday, July 4. Entertainment starts at 4:00 p.m. Free.

St. Pete Beach: Fireworks on Wednesday, July 4 at 9:00 p.m. at the county park area, located at 4700 Gulf Boulevard. Visible from many locations along the beach. Free.

Tampa: Fireworks at Channelside. Includes music, food, and fireworks beginning at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 4. Fireworks begin at 9:00 p.m. Free in all locations except the Florida Aquarium and the S.S. American Victory.

Treasure Island: Fireworks on Wednesday, July 4 at 9:00 p.m. on the beach, 112th Avenue and Gulf Boulevard. Free.

Weeki Wachee: July Fourth Celebration. A special fireworks display is scheduled at dusk. Weeki Wachee Springs and Buccaneer Bay admission costs reduced July 4 only to $12.95 (plus tax) for adults and $8.95 (plus tax) for children ages 3-10.
