Finding several inaccuracy's with my Garmin 546S

I have a new Garmin 546S with the G2 vision card and the latest software updates.
I am finding several inaccuracy's in the base map of this unit.
I have been in marina's and the plotter was showing me on land.
I took the gps co-ordinance from my 546s when setting at the slip in this particular marina and ran it on Google earth and the co-ordinance is correct as the Google earth map shows the slip I was moored at.
I called Garmin and reported this and they checked it and found that indeed their base map is incorrect as all of their units had the same issue.
Has anybody else noticed this with their Garmin units?

The problem is most likely not Garmin - it is in the NOAA charts that are used to create the Garmin base map. The problem is that the GPS is more accurate than the old charts. I am not aware of any easy fix to this, but it does show why it helps to look around with your eyes once in a while!

Yep can't rely on just one instrument have to use all the sources of info. available to you.
The best being your own eyes and ears.

You said you had the latest updates is yours is it a downloaded version or preprogrammed card?
I just bought the latest release of G2 vision preprogrammed card complete US from West Marine it came with a special deal package spoke with Garmin it is their latest release Feb 2011 seems to be accurate running in small inlets between islands we have areas at low tide -1 that are at 3' depth in spots. I used a Nuvi 745 for comparison locations both units were almost identical in position. I had tried using the downloadable version of g2 vision prior to the preprogrammed my opinion is the downloaded version wasn't as accurate in certain areas. Garmin did refund my purchase price of the download version after I returned the card it was on. I prefer the preprogrammed card because it can be used in any Garmin marine capable device not true with the download version.

I have the preprogrammed G2 vision card and it is also the Feb 2011 version as I also purchased the card and the and the 546s recently to take advantage of the $200.00 rebate.
But the issue isn't with the card it is with the base map in the unit.
I have tried removing the card and I still see the same errors.
