I have the Sea Ray part number but where do I go from here? Most sites give you their inventory number to search by and that's no help.

thanks
Tim

Sea Ray only sells parts thru their dealers, so you will need to go to your local dealer to get a particular Sea Ray part number. Sea Ray makes all the fiberglass parts and the soft good like seating and upholstery, but they buy most everything else used on the boats. Most vendor supplied items are available online, by mail order or from local chandleries if you can figure out who the OEM manufacturer is. Those of us who have been around the brand a while know who Sea Ray uses for what so if we can help you identify something, post it here on CSR.

Great information. Thank you! I want to replace the spotlight, anchor, and trim tab switches on the dash. I would assume based on your reply they would be OEM items?

No.......all are items Sea Ray purchased from vendors.

The trim tab switches are most probably Bennett and are available from any number of sources like West Marine, Defender, Jamestown, etc. The spotlight could be ACR, Perko or Jabsco and the anchor could be replaced with a generic anchor or a high end one like Fortress.

Right about now is where learning how to post photos on CSR is valuable. If you will post photos of the stuff you are looking for, somebody here can help you find a source.

Is that replace the:
1. Spotlight
2. Anchor
3. Trim tab switches

Or is it replace the:
1. Spotlight switch
2. Anchor switch
3. Trim tab switch

If you want to keep it easy, just tell your dealer what you want and let them get it for you. But you'll likely pay a little more for the part than if you locate it yourself. How much more depends on the part, supplier, etc.

Are you looking for something like this? I pulled this image from Flounder Pounder Marine (who also sells them). But these are easy to get from just about any marine store. Typically, about $2 a pop. You might even find that BOE Marine (Jim) carries them (the owner of Club Sea Ray).

if you have OEM part numbers you can also type them into eBay or Amazon search boxes
and they can search by that.
