Hi Folks, Nice to be part of this community !! Picked myself up a 2001 Sundancer 270 that has good bones but needs some love. Has a newer 383 with a little over 100 hours and detailed repair documentation from the Marina that cared for it , but I am going to need a long list of cosmetic things to bring her up to snuff . Looking forward to getting experienced answers to the many questions that I am going to have ! So here goes question #1……where in the world can I get the full camper enclosure w/ eisenglass for her ?? The google machine tells me these were part of the 2000-2002 era of boats made in the now closed Arizona factory and no templates survived ?? Seems odd a billion dollar company would have no backup on these details . Need to get my receding hairline out of the direct sun ….any details from the gang on this would be great ! Thanks all, looking forward to smooth boating .

Great lakes Boat tops should have made the original Bimini and cabin enclosure for that boat. I'm interested in seeing pictures because I want to step up to a bigger boat

I reached out to Great Lakes for details on this . Interestingly in their drop down menu of models the 270 isn’t listed. Let’s see what their fit suggestion is… I’ll advise what I find out .

Reach out to CSR member / sponsor @KevinC
He can help with Great Lakes and if not mistaken offers members a discount.

I know that they did make a lot of factory tops for Sea rays they did make it for mine and a whole bunch of models so yeah see what you can come up with from them cuz I have a 215 weekender and I have a full isenglass and glass enclosure with a Bimini top actually nice to have I'm glad this came with one

Factory replacement canvas ordering can be confusing to many owners as while the boats may look the same there are many variations by year and production models within the year. It is not your typical online purchase. We spend a lot of time with clients making sure they are getting what they need. Additionally never make the assumption the the boat you just purchased came with factory canvas.

The problem you are running into was that the Arizona plant was handled by a separate company called Westland (now part of the same family). When the plant closed none of the templates and production changes where retained. This problem is not unique to Arizona boats but also many of the Palm Coast plant boats as well as the larger Yachts where the originals were made internally.

I have worked through this with many AZ owners with varying levels of success. Send me your info on our website (www.covemarine.com) and I will contact you!

Well I’m a little prejudice but I love that boat. Mine was a 1999 with 8.1 and bravo 3. Several members have this model can help when needed so reach out with questions.

I remember getting a replacement canvas from the original manufacturer years ago. I also remember going back to them some years later, and was told the patterns were no longer available.

Hoping Kevin can help you out here.

Good luck and post some pictures.

Here is what the camper canvas looks like.

Kevin, I’ll send you a PM . I drove the boat about 2 hours upwater this weekend to her mooring . Previous owner dropped a bunch of bags on deck of what they had for the boat and it appears that it’s the nearly full Camper Eisenglass set , which was a very nice surprise. I’ll still need the Bimini rails/ top however. Hope you can help with this or a match , I really need some cover at the helm from the heat.

Dx, I like your style dude. Went down this rabbit hole with rnr last week . Aside from the vintage 1998 website layout , I did find some nuggets. Unfortunately mine is an 01 Arizona bastard child so the hunting will be harder. Thanks again .
