Long time lurker here. I have had a Rinker 360 for many years and often used this forum as a resource to help a guy like me save a little money through effectively working on my boat. I certainly appreciate all the knowledge here and i look forward to paying it forward with what i have learned over the years. This week we became part of the Sea Ray family and purchased a 2004 420 DB with Cummins 6CTA engines. Our family is really looking forward to making this ship our own and exploring New England waters even further than we already have. I think next summer we will finally make the trip out to Nantucket! We will be bringing the 420 from the Haverstraw area around to her home port in Mystic CT in a couple weeks. We plan to use her as much as possible until we lay up in early November. At that time i will start to tend to some of the maintenance related items to give us fresh start next season (aftercooler, gear cooler, heat exchanger service). Although i will say the previous owner appeared to take good care of her with well documented records, its just a few service items are due...
Anyway i look forward to being part of the Sea Ray community and perhaps seeing some of you at our local hangouts in the summer (Block Island, Napatree, Mystic).
Now for a couple picts:

Very nice Congrats. We purchased our first Sea Ray after boating my whole life; we have had, Boston Whalers, Regal's, a Wellcraft, a Baja, and a few others... We are 4 weeks in but loving it so far!

Congrats! We've had ours for 9 months now and its changed our boating experience so much. I'm already jealous of you being located in Mystic. As you know you're just a stones throw from some great boating destinations. We did Nantucket this year for the first time. Hopefully you can squeeze out a few more great boating days before the seasons over.

Congrats, that’s is a great boat. You will enjoy the added space and range of it. We got our sedan bridge last Oct and it has been a great upgrade. Tons of room and we love the comfort on longer runs.
Enjoy it.

We live in Northwest CT and used to keep the boat on the CT River. However we always found ourselves turning East to Block Island. So now we keep the boat in Mystic, which is a destination in itself, and spend the extra gas money on the car rather than the boat. We did about 50 nights on our old boat this season. 20+ being on Block Island and the rest at Mystic, Cuttyhunk, MV, and Napatree. Such great boating around us, and now we'll go even further. A highlight of the season was the crossover from MV to Block and seeing a Right Whale breach next to us as we were cruising at 28knts. Glad she wasn't in front of us...

Welcome and congrats!

Congratulations, great boat. The sedan bridge style boats allow for tons of elbow room, we love ours.
Enjoy what is left of this season and I am sure you will have a great year next season getting the boat the way you and your family will want it.

Congrats on a beautiful vessel. We recently joined the SB club, and absolutely love it.

Congratulations on getting that beautiful boat!

Beautiful boat! Congratulations!
