Fender holders

Not in the water, but here's the one's that came on my boat when I bought it. If I ever had to replace, I'd probably go with the whole stainless steel pipe custom holder, or even go to an aluminum set up. Visibility isn't an issue for me as I'm a drive up top guy.

Here's a couple pic's of mine.... I get lots of compliments on them and I'm very happy that I didn't have to pay for them(directly).

I have sets on Saint Max. They work. Beyond that, I would not do the evolution again. If the custom stainless ones are going to be what I thing they are, that is the road I would take.

Agreed, very nice, is this a year round home or just winter storage? Is it heated?

I keep it in here year around... No heat except on the boat I've got 2 x 30 amp service in there so I can run just pretty much whatever is needed. The big door has an electric opener on it and a remote on the boat.

I pulled the SS fender holders off my (now CJ's) 320DA--I did not like the impact on visibility from the helm and found other places to store them. The 420DA has enough storage (and bigger rails which preclude bolting these things on) so they are now "excess"

They are hanging in my garage-PM me if anybody wants to buy them....garage clearing fire sale prices.

No visibility issues here. I like them. Besides, there's nowhere to store fenders on this boat other than in the bilge and that's just not convenient. We do a lot of rafting up. As for disturbing the lines of the boat, I'd rather have these than state reg numbers ;-)

I'd be more concerned with my nuts next to a radar dome than fender racks. But that's just me!!!

Forget the fender baskets, I want Mark's boathouse!

I haven't seen Mark's boathouse but have seen his fender holders, and those are very well thought out and nice looking.

We anchor out as much as we possibly can and that often involves rafting up. Having the fendors out on the bow ready to go is a great convenience for us as the Admiral and crew are the ones to "prepare to raft" and we gotta keep it easy-nothing to dig out and carry forward. Besides, there is VERY little storage space on this model.

Visibility is not an issue at all as the helm is elevated. Looks are a non-issue for us (within reason) as we do our boating for our own enjoyment.

Hey Jack
Looks like you're in a raft up there and you didn't even have to put any fenders out. Didn't want to get 'em scratched?

Actually, this shot is taken while we were in the slip of my home dock. Can't beat that view! I plan on keeping that slip for life.

they are made out of 1" stainless and mounted to the bowrail using a stainless clamp designed for bimini's. Works great for us.
