Federal documented vessel in Maryland

Where do you place the Maryland sticker on your boat when you are documented with the Coast Guard?

Is it sufficient to put one in both the port and starboard windows?

I don't know if Maryland is different from WA, but here we put the state sticker on a window on the port side of the boat opposite the helm.

The USCG doesn't care about a state mandated tax stamp.

The local LEO's on the other hand will be looking for that sticker.

Most states say "The registration sticker can be placed on the most forward port side facing window glass, whether it be windshield or cabin glass on Federally documented vessels.

I put mine on each side of hull where the normal registration numbers would be if not documented (forward up high).
