Fwd stateroom Bose speakers not working
:huh: We recently purchased a 2001 480 Sedan Bridge with the upgraded Bose Lifestyle 20 system. The salon speakers work great but the zone 2 (master stateroom) speakers do not play any sound. Sometimes you can hear a short buzz sound when you flip switches on the control head in the salon. The speakers themselves work, I slaved in another portable radio to the speakers and they work perfect. I have even slaved in the stereo system into the zone 2 RCA plugs at the main control unit in the salon but still no sound. The owners manual wire diagram shows a volume control on the starboard side of the stateroom which could explain why there is no sound if the volume is turned down. Looked but can't see any control for the volume. Is there an amp that's possibly not working somewhere between the salon and stateroom? I am leaning towards a possible wiring issue somewhere between the the salon and master stateroom. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, TCP
