As part of my entertainment systems upgrades, I'll be left with a DVD Player in my electrical panel that will no longer be utilized. I can let it sit, or remove it but have a hole left I'll need a cover for.

Where would I go to get a cover plate made up for this, so it doesn't look out of place, or any other suggestions on what to do?

Did a very similar thing. I went to a local counter-top place and got a scrap of matte black Formica. No charge and they cut it for me. Found 4 black screws to attach it. Looked factory.

That's black starboard. Buy a piece of 1/4" or 3/8" and cut down to your size using the old one as a template for the holes. Very easy product to work with.

And that is why CSR is amazing. I've stuck around even though I no longer own a Sea Ray..but still admire them.

Thanks!

Or, you could just let me know the dimensions, and I'll mill one out for you. That way, it will be exactly square and true, with precisely located holes. I could make it out of any material you choose.

I might hit you up on that Dale. The material its mounted on appears to be black powder coated metal of some sort. Would really like a thin metal cover plate. I'll get dimensions this weekend. I found a website that does cut to size starboard, but the thinnest is 1/4".

That's exactly what I did - there's a site that will send you a peace cut to your specifications and beveled...cost me $6.00 and I used velcro on the back to hold it in place over the opening (lined the edges with velcro) and looks perfect.
