Wow, with my reduced visits over the winter to this forum, I completely missed this thread. I have been wondering recently where Presentation has been over in the "Official 280DA thread". Hope all is well.I visited a center just this past winter to see about getting implants, since my eyesight is too far gone for laser vision correction. While I can see perfectly well with contacts, it's a pain and hassle. The doctor though my best option was a "clear lens extraction" where they remove the natural lens in the eye and replace with a synthetic one (same as cataract surgery for older people). The other option was implants. I was a bit nervous about those options and had decided to hold off for awhile since technology is always improving and I'm in no way in a desperate situation. And being only 40, I didn't want to run the risk of going blind in an eye when these damn contacts are doing there job! So I look forward to hearing from you Presentation, and hope all has worked out and you are well.Tom

He's still kicking but going through a rough time. I know we are all well intentioned but what he really wants is to be given some space right now. He will check back when he's ready.

Thanks for the update. I was worried that maybe he got a second procedure and didn't survive the anethesia. I have seen that before, several times.

I think he has his space. No ill will intended here on the forum. I wish him well with a full recovery.

Would have been nice if he would have just told us that in this thread, or had someone do it for him. So all we can do is guess to his condition.

I emailed his business address about 10 days ago out of genuine concern. Never heard back. Figured the worst. At least now I know not to bother him again since he needs his space. How were we to know?
