Eye surgery went very wrong

Sorry not much to report.

This Thursday I see a retina specialist. Before this time the eye is too cloudy for them to see much.

For sure I will need another surgery but have no date at this time. Most likely they will do one of three things, put this implant where it should be, remove this implant and put in a different one, or remove this implant and not have an implant.

I should know more after Thursday.

Hey Pres, what did the eye doc have to say yesterday? Hope it was good news. We are still praying for a full recovery for you.

Yep Pres... hope you are doing better and had good news yesterday... we are thinking about ya man...

Met with the retina specialist yesterday.

He feels one suture is holding the implant just fine for now.

He wants to give the eye a few weeks to heal. He will see me again in a week. Then around two weeks from now he plans to do a multi step procedure where he removes the implant then places another implant in the eye further forward, closer to the front of the eye.

His confidence was high that this can be done and he has experience doing this procedure.

Thank you all for the well wishes and prayers. It means a great deal to me.

Most Excellent news
take it easy and don't do anything to complicate the healing

That is great news, will keep you in our thoughts and prayers that all goes well.

Sounds good. will continue to think about you. Do what they tell you. Don't want to see you having to drive around with a permanent patch on your eye.

Pleased to hear your good news! Take care:)

Pres,
Thank God!! Sounds like very good news! Just in case it doesn't work out I hear this guy is retiring soon and they might be looking for a replacement!
