Exuma trip this summer?

So have we locked in the dates? For the Bimini people Saturday the 3rd and meeting for the 4th at Nassau (one night) and leaving for Sail Rock the morning of the 5th?

I hope this trip comes together and we finally get to meet as we only live about 20 miles apart.

We are wanting to get back to Cape Coral around the 13th to head back to Colorado on the 15th or 16th.

Ken, I hope so too. I grew up in Boulder but for the past 2 years I've been spending most of my time in Ft. Lauderdale. I'm not sure where I call home.

Look forward to meeting you and doing some boating.

My daughters can't go but both are still talking about "Jack, the pirate guy"..

The oldest is working all summer and the youngest will be in camp. She's still talking about how you and your sister went to the same school.

You need to talk to my wife when you see her. I had the best boat picked out, we looked at it this afternoon and she told me it sucked. Friggin' spoil sport.

I'll prepare a spreadsheet with baseline information on all the boats in the trip. This will give the flotilla information on everyone and can be used as our Float Plan.

Diversion, JC3 and Trit21; Please PM me with the following information (I already have this for all other from previous trips)....

first and last name of the captain
name of vessel
names of people coming with you
port of departure
date of departure
date of return
size, type and make of your vessel
color scheme of your vessel
EPIRB (yes or no)
email address
MMSI number (if you have one)
cell phone number

I plan on being in Nassau the 3rd. I'd like to spend a day checking out Atlantis. Then I assume the bulk of the group will head for Sail Rocks Monday the 5th.
As for our group Marcia, Sarah, Sean and Myself.

according to their web site, slip reservations at Atlantis during the 4th of July carry a 4 night minimum and a 20% surcharge on the dock rate. we may have to look elsewhere at Nassau.

Being thats what it is anyone else want to chime in on other places to stay.

Hurricane Hole looks great. I'm fine visiting Atlantis but staring somewhere esle. Jack, Mike and Randy, am I correct in understanding that you're going straight to Nassau on the 3rd?

Do you know what the reservation policies are at the various marinas? Deposits and refund due to weather?

That's my plan. I'm figuring 180 statute mi. so it will take me a little less than 9 hours. Not a bad cruise for me as I'm used to 12 hour days.
As usual it depends on what the weather's doing.

Someday my wife and I can join. Need a bigger boat first. Would the 290 amberjack suffice? But first baby to be born on Monday!!!
