The wife and I had our 1st long journey on the Knot @ Work. We left Frog Mortar Creek (our home port) and went across the bay into the Chester River .... all the way down to Rolph's Wharf marina. If you sneeze, you'll miss it.

The owners Chip & Sandy are absolutely amazing and took great care of us.

Here are a few pictures of our journey that I hope you enjoy!

Picture of the whole marina... well almost all of it. They have a store, pool, tiki bar and lots more for you to do:

If I get time, I'll post up more pictures.... we were there during the fireworks... what an absolute great time!

Cheers,
Tim

We're in Fairwinds ... across from Edwards marina. It was approx 2 hours up / down. If I pushed it and wanted to burn lots of gas, I'm sure I could have gotten there much faster but when we got into Chester we took it easy and took in all the sites.

Real nice place, been there a couple of years back. I also like pulling into Langford creek for an overnighter, there are some real nice places to toss out the hook. Will most likely be up there this season.

I'll have to check out Langford Creek..... thanks for the tip.

If I did not know what newer Sea Rays looked like, I would think your boat was new. It looks to be very clean and in excellent shape - Very nice boat and a lot bigger than current 330s! Enjoy.

Thank you very much although I can't take all the credit. The previous owner took great shape and kept great documentation as well. We still have a few things to fix but that's always the case with a boat :)

Even with new ones. :)

Ok here are a few more pictures..... I'll add more as I upload/find them. Enjoy!

This is one of my favorites. This was taken as we entered back into our own homeport creek... what an AMAZING view!

Rolph's Wharf B&B. What a beautiful place. For those staying, you get free breakfast in this place and wow is it rich in history. Just to be in the place leaves you in awe.

The wife and I decided to hit Rolph's "Tiki" bar for some adult beverages, crab cakes and mingle with the crowd. While there we got to experience this amazing
sight! Look at this sunset..... AMAZING!!!

The day prior to departing, the wife and I had brand new carpet installed. We opted for the blue that matches our top and everyting else and were extremely pleased. It really gave this boat new personality and looks amazing:

Another picture of our new cockpit carpet. It wasn't cheap but nothing in boating is, ..... is it? LOL.

Hope you enjoyed the pictures!

Cheers,

Tim the boat looks great! I can't believe how clean she looks in the pics. Your wake shot that trail of steam is similar to mine. Keep an eye on your coolant levels during your pre-trip checks.

Tom,
I filled the coolant and also ensured the overflow tanks were squared away --- prior to departure. :) Thanks for the tip and for the kind words about the boat. I have a lot of time and energy cleaning/waxing this boat.

Tim, Great pics!! My home port is Frog Mortar as well....Parkside Marina. We do a fair amount of weekends to the Eastern shore. We'll have to put this place on the list for sure. I'll be sure to keep an eye out for you on the river.

Thanks! I think I'm further back in Frog Mortar in Fairwinds. By the way, if you ever come back this way stop by and say hi. There's a slip right next to my lift/pier so you can stop by and say hi! :) BTW, nice boat!

Thanks. I've stuck my nose back in that part of the creek a few times but can never find enough water. Ever consider moving over to Parkside? Its a great place. Very clean, great people and the prices are VERY reasonable.

No, never considered moving since we have a semi-private pier with a lift for Knot @ Work. I love being hidden back here it's serene and I enjoy the semi-privacy  Not to mention, we are literally without rocks throw of a gas station which these 7.4L engines seem to be attracted to LOL. :smt038:wow::smt100

I hear ya!! My last boat was a '96 330 Dancer. Unfortunately she sank this past Easter under the new owners care (not their fault the marina neglected to close the seacocks before launching her for the season :( ). Interesting things... my name is Tim, I had a 330, we're both on Frog Mortar and our boat names both start with "Knot"!!!

Wow! (gulp). My wife and I purchased this boat last winter and have been out a half dozen times. It's quite interesting moving from a small (22 foot) boat to this one and from a boat with an outboard vs. twin inboards. Oh and that bow that seems to run forever. Quite intimidating at first.... LOL. My first docking experience was the fuel station across from our house... I was gonna yell "Help, I'm insured and I only have docked a dinghy before". (Laughing). My wife and I were amazed that I was able to swing that boat around like I did.... very proud. I had one instance (extremely windy) were the bow just wouldn't cooperate getting into our slip. That day, I tried 5 times to get into the slip/lift. errr! From what I'm told, even the very experienced captain would have had a few drinks and called it a day.

Tdady, Tim from knot @ work. Give me a call 443-695-3689. We are at the jetti.... free slip come in over!!! I'm spending the night.
