Expected splash dates...

This is what my car looked like when I left the office today. I was supposed to launch on Saturday. We still have 15" of ice on the lake. I bumped my launch back to May 11th and I am crossing my fingers.

Last year I launched on March 25th. :(

We're in the water year round in LA but we don't use the boat much in the winter. So I guess our "splash" date was today since we took her out for a lil ride on a breezy 80 degree sunny day here.

Its definitely got me ready for the season, and the Newport Beach boat show tomorrow won't hurt either.

Arrrg. This weather sucks. It makes two weekends in a row it will be tough for the temps to get out of the 40's. If the wind would lie down, the Admiral could hack it. As it stands we are looking at the first weekend in May before we launch.

well, $3,200 later we are in for 2013....

LOL, dockage, plus launch fees, two new eel power cords, new batteries, and other unexpected expenses... god i love boating!

Ain't that just why we have the hole in the water club!

Nothing like a 15 knot wind out of the north east to make docking at your new slip entertaining! :smt038

Luckily, 'knocking on wood' this year hasn't been bad. Last year I was around $3500 with new exhaust and a new coupler.

Suppose to be 70 here by midweek. 90 would be nice.

Splashed this past Thursday, all systems OK! :smt038
