i have my 340 out for spring maintenance and bottom paint and when it came out of the water I noticed the starboard exhaust tip was missing (the brass fitting screwed to the hull directing the exhaust towards the rear) the screws were sheared off so i filed them flush with the hull. does anyone know how thick the hull is in this location, I was told to simply screw the new tip to the hull but I don't want to drill through the hull. I am thinking 1 inch ss screws should work...but I'm nor sure? hopefully someone has run into this before.
