Everyone enjoying the ride?

Dow up 1,100 today... how does that make any sense? I’ll take it but geez!

I have a few years to go yet, and don’t pay attention to it much anymore.

It's trying to lose all of yesterdays gains what a wild ride.

I bought a few things today.
To bad you didn't wait it's going to get a lot worse down over 7% since you posted. Ford is selling at 0.67 it could go to zero. China's market for car sales has dropped to zero. The Saudi's fighting with Russia over oil. Gas will be cheap that's about the only good news this past week.

Bot some oil today -- USO. Broke the lows of 2016. It ain't going to zero.

Fellas it will come back once the election is over. I have stayed the path. Yes I am down terribly. However it’s all gains that is gone.

Bought more at the opening today.
Took some cash that was sitting on the sidelines and put it to work.
Got some great stuff at an average 25% discount off the 52 week highs.
I’m in it for the long haul.
Actually, odds are that I’ll never see any of it, especially now that they pushed back the age for mandatory distributions from IRA’s, so it’s really my kids money I’m playing with.
BTW: Ford closed at $6.26 today. At that price it will pay a 9.58% dividend.

My big hedge is cattle , chickens, and guns in rural KY.

RMD time near for my wife :(:(

I’ll be 66 in a few months. Was glad they pushed that back. Been holding out in the hope that my wife would agree to leave NY before I took any, but that ain’t looking good.

I bought a lot in 08. However my goal is to buy memory’s for my grand kids. That’s what I don’t want to miss. I am only 62 turning 63 in May. Their parents r doing well, so I not so concerned about future.
Plus they all have seen my cows , etc and understand where it comes from.

Need to give AOC a lesson or two, oh and Bernie too!

Ford China shares dropped to 0.38 a share but went up to 0.40 cents by the afternoon sales are down 38% for Ford there. Sales in Europe won't offset their losses

I was fortunate enough to be able to retire early at 61 I'm 68 now and not regretted one day. We have business interest that run themselves and travel 6 to 7 months of the year. We will probally sell our business in June its been a good 12 year run with it. We have a 6 week trip planned this summer with our 2 grandsons should be a great time. I got out of the stock market last June it was a great ride but a secured investment with a 3.2% return works out perfect for us, it will eventually pay for our grandsons education.

So how low will it go 17000, 16000 maybe 15000. Last nights decision to stop all flights from Europe was a huge hit for the industry, the cruise industry shutting down all leading to further losses in the world stock markets.
