Ever considered a trawler?

I don't remember that there was any significant leaking problem at all. It was a tough boat but the finishes were not at the same level as a Sea Ray for example. But you get a lot of boat and space for the investment. The separation of the cabins was great and we had seven people at times for a weekend (actually we slept more people on that 28' than our present 46'). The engine access was tight of course, even without a genny. No A/C either, but great sidedeck access and utility. There was a hardtop version. The Riviera was built from 1983-1990. I had the Merc 230's, some had Crusader 220's. All were straight inboards.
