Auto insurance (not boat).
Progressive jacked my rates for the last time. Looking for new. I got an excellect quote from Erie. Looking for informed / user opinions on how they are to deal with in the event of a wreck.
Progressive has been great to work with for wrecks, non in recent years, I been with them long time thru my kids early driving years, but they raised me last January and now again this coming January. Screw Flo.

I have been an Erie customer for 18 years. Erie is outstanding. Erie does not take just anyone like other companies, so you had better have a high insurance score. They are very good handling claims and pay well. Only the responsible need apply though.

I applied online and got a quote. Said agent down the street from me will call me. I think when he does I will make appt to go see him.
Thanks for your reply that is exactly what I was looking for.
Sounds like my house insurance company, Selective out of South Carolina. Only take the Good, not the Bad and the Ugly.

Been with Erie 3 years now and zero complaints.

Next up… just got email quote from Doug and the Bird, Liberty Mutual. $360 a year less than Erie. Wife said she heard bad stories from them, but nothing specific.
Any dealings with them?

Thats who I left when I went to Erie.
Big premium jump after first year with Liberty Mutual.

I have Erie for home and auto (4 cars) for 20+ years. Been happy with their incident response and dealing with claims.

We've had Erie for personal and business for 20 years. Not many claims but the few were handled quickly with no complaints.

Checkout Nationwide they were the cheapest out of everyone and have been with them for a ~5 years now. They are great to work with. Also have the house with them as well as the CC.
