ENGINE SHUTS DOWN

[Hot Jambalaya]

Hi anyone experience engine shutdown upon fisrt start? While getting ready for my last 2 voyages the engine turned off.

I run the fan for about 4 minutes then start my engine. After about 3-5 minutes the engine shut down. Gauges were all normal. I restart the engine and it ran great all day. This happened twice during the initial start. Any ideas what could be going on?

A little dirt in fuel line….a little condensation (water) in fuel tank……weak fuel pump that performs better at higher rpm when running harder….maybe good ‘ole vapor lock…..?.?.?

Thank you, I will start with the filters, then replace the fuel pump?

Possibly Iac going bad?

As you replace those filters pay close attention to the gaskets. I have one other simple suggestion, check your tank vent! It could be partially blocked
