Engine/ignition switch alarm barely audible

I have a '99 310. When starting the port engine, the alarm is barely audible. When the engine starts, everything is normal and the alarm, however faint, stops because everything is normal for engine operations.

I am thinking the horn is failing. Has anyone else encountered this? Is it a difficult fix?
