I imagine all new boats have some time on them at delivery much in the same way new cars always have a "few" miles on the odometer. I'm curious about what people had on their clock at delivery...???

Mine had 50 on the mains and close to 100 on the genset, but it was a leftover and the age and use steered the price very much in my favor.

The engines are run at the factory, so depending on the engine make you could have several hours of testing time on them.

My 176BR had 2 hours on it and the 220SD had about the same. Just enough for the dealer to prep and test it prior to my taking possession. :smt024

About the same for me. I think I had 1 hour on the clock. Now have about 30, from mid August to early November. Can't wait to put on some more. :smt001

Thanks to all for the perspective. Just saw my new 260DA for the first time in person over the weekend. 1.2 hrs on the clock - seemed normal enough.

Our 270 had 3 hours on it when the dealer turned it over to us. The 320 had 1.1 hours on each engine at time of delivery. We were told that was on the low side of it.

Not to worry "We soon changed that !" Then our luck changed, we splashed before the gas docks took delivery for the spring. Had to take a weeks break. Seemed like a month.

Mine had 1.4 hours on it when I got it.

My new boat had just under 2 hours on each engine (1.8 I think) and they are identical. Now it has 4.1 after last weekend!
