Bumping this thread since I have had no luck finding a replacement, getting anyone to reply that I contacted. It's gone from bad to worse, won't even move now sometimes.

Steve at Motion - no reply
Amazon one - back ordered
Concentric - won't sell me one
Lenco - no reply

I had a similar issue some time ago... removed and took part put back together and greased the shaft. the greasing of the shaft did the trick. I used some automotive grease, carbaflo. I had thought someone on hear mentioned taking a bit of oil from the filter with your fingers during a routine oil change and apply it to the cylinder too keep it lubricated. Might be worth a try...

I called these folks, they will not sell me one because they're actuators are not Marine compliant. I forget the exact terms but basically she said they can't sell them for a engine marine application.

Greg,

To are just too honest. What you do with what you buy is your business but if a sales person is that nosey, just tell them you are needed a window actuator for a spacecraft you are building in your garage.

Agreed, lessons learned. They evidently don't sell to the general public anyway, which is why I think they were asking a lot of questions.

Greg,

Try Peters Marine Service in Allentown PA. You might call Dennis Galligani who is one of the owners now. You know Dennis. He is "Lazy Daze" on CSR and is one of our most respected posters.

Peters is a small boat dealer but all dealers have to order Sea Ray parts thru Sea Ray Customer Service so the Customer service doofus that takes parts orders should just verift that Peters is a current dealer to take the order.

Tell Dennis I said hi!

When all else fails, try this.....below is the info for the OEM for the hatch actuators. It took me about a month to get someone to answer a phone/email during covid. They are very difficult to contact for some reason. Maybe easier now. I got the numbers off of my actuators and gave Shelly the numbers. They made me new ones within a week or so and shipped to me. They are about $400/each.

I have referred a lot of folks to the best parts guy in the business at the marina in Panama City Beach. If you have yet to source the actuator you need and want their contact information, let me know.

They will take a credit card number over the phone and either have your part drop shipped to you, or, if Sea Ray requires it (usually if SR has the part you need in stock), have your part shipped to them in Panama City Beach and they will ship it on to you.

Let me know…….

I have calls into St Clair Shores, Peters Marine Service and QMI Group - fingers are crossed...

Greg,

I spoke to the parts guy at the marina on something else and mentioned your challenge on the hatch actuator. He is willing to order one for you and have it shipped to you. The Marina is Treasure Island Marina and they were a Sea Ray dealer for years button longer sell boats, however, they are still a servicing Sea Ray dealer and can get SR parts. They are the "go to" repair facility for Sea Ray on the Gulf Coast. I kept my boats with them from 1989 to 2021 and they are by far the best source for parts and service in our area. Let me know if you want their contact info.

Thank you Frank, I really appreciate it, yes please forward me the contact information.

My 390DA has 2 actuators and both needed to be replaced at the same time because the replacements aren't OEM and run at different speeds. They were $390something each.
It took less than an hour to swap them out.

Do you have a website or part number for the actuators you replaced yours with? Mine are getting slow and want to just get them over with.
