3M Weather Strip Adhesive. Comes in a red tube. Put the adhesive on both mating surfaces, put the gasket in place, and tape with masking tape until the adhesive sets. Permanent fix.

Best regards,
Frank

What would you use to clean the old adhesive goo off of the gasket and the hatch, or does the red bond right through it?

Sea Ray used double sided tape on my hatch. Pain in the butt to remove that stuff. Tried to remove, it from the underside of the hatch, but got disgusted and bonded right over it. Seems to be good even without removing the old stuff first.

Thanks for the information -- greatly appreciated
