Engine Box Question

Hello,
I just purchased my first Sea Ray, a 230 Cuddy Cruiser, 1985. It came with a custom made (if you want to call it that) engine box which is too wide to allow for seats on either side. My question is, will other years' engine boxes fit an '85? If so, which years?

Or, does anyone know the original dimensions of the an 85 engine box on a 230?

[Two Screwed]

My Mom has an 87 SR185 with seats on both sides of the cover. Maybe they are the same? I might could get a picture if you think it could help
