I have a 2011 200SD with the Merc 5.0. While on vacation at Lake Tahoe today I had a warning come on (first time ever for any warning). The warning indicates that the electronic oxygen sensor is not working. Everything else on the boat looks ok. The warning says to visit the dealer "soon."
From looking at other threads, it appears that SeaRays have an issue with these sensors. But it also appears that the issue often pops up right away - not after 8 years of use.
I'll have the sensor replaced at some point. My question is whether it is possible to continue boating this week with the problem or whether I should have this looked at straight away. Thank you for any replies.
