Hi All Need some help.

Having electrical (110V) problems with my 89 Sea Ray.
Have power on the port side plug outlets but not on the staboard outlets. The electrician told me that the #7 wire seem to be fried or corroded.
Any ideas as to the routing of the wiries from the panel to the outlets at the staboard side?
Is there a connection block or switches behind the stove/microwave, ice maker, etc?
Any help/advice appreciated.

Did he actually find a fried or corroded wire, or is he making that statement based on lack of voltage at an outlet? We've seen many posts where lack of AC voltage at one or more outlets is caused by a tripped GFCI outlet somewhere.

Places to look for them:
Under sinks, inside of vanities, and behind refrigerators and microwaves.

He dis not actually find a fried wire. He made the statement due to lack of power at the outlets.
Thanks for your help. I'll have him explore more in the places you mentioned.
Thanks again.

"The electrician told me that the #7 wire seem to be fried or corroded."

And that's all he said? Did?

Hmm..if so I might consider finding another electrician.

It shouldn't be too difficult to find both ends of the wire that's supposed to supply power to your outlets.....and then perform a very simple test with a meter to check for continuity through that wire to ensure it's still in tact.

If it is....then the problem has to be at one end or the other. Shouldn't be too difficult for an electrician who knows what he's doing to figure out.

Good luck.
