here's anothe question I have about previous owner's modificaion on my electrical system.
Previous owner installed a West Marine battery combiner to install a third bank (2 nsix volt batteries in serrires). I had alternator/regulator problems. Had alternators rebuilt, voltage regulators changed from external to intergral. Mechanic installed rebuilt alternators, but instead of wiring from output of alternators to 6 volts as per battery combiner instructions he reconnected the alternators as per factory installation from alternators to starter. Does this have any effect ot the charging system?? Right now everything appears to be charging fine, should I be worry??
thanks
