Electric Toilet not working

I have a 1996 sundancer 290 and the electric pump for the toilet will not operate. when you press the switch the lights in the head will dim which indicates to me that something is preventing the impeller from turning. what is the easiest way to remove the pump and clear the impeller?any advice would be great

I'm no expert, but, generally when an electric motor dims a light that means there's a short in the motor that's draining juice.

Since this post was last year, I'm curious if you found a resolution and what is was. Mines doing the same thing.
