Any concern on the frost/freeze warning??
pretty sure Everything will be ok. Anything I can do to be sure.
She comes out on Tuesday.

My boat has been hauled at a different marina for some work. Temps are supposed to be in the low 30's to high 20's tonight. Winterizing isn't really a good option, as I have to bring it back to my marina when the work is done. I called up there yesterday, and they said no reason to be concerned. They said they hadn't winterized any of their boats that were on land and they were not worried.

Scott is right. Besides we have had pretty warm temps up until last night and it takes a pretty long cold spell to bring all the metal down to freezing levels (one over night dip to 32 won't do it). According to the weather this am temps along the Mass coast barely got close to 32. The only exception was Plymouth with the coldest overnight on the south shore at 32, and even then the weather guy figured it was because the temperature is taken at the airport close to the cranberry bogs.

While there is supposed to be a warming trend later in the week, I wouldn't waste any time getting the fresh water system drained once you pull the boat. As an FYI, if you don't already know, be careful removing the canvas in this kind of weather. The plastic backed material can get brittle and crack if it gets folded too tight (like when trying to remove it from the frames - don't ask how I learned that). Mine came off yesterday and is presently sitting in the warm basement.

I'm off to the boatyard Newbury to do ours as soon as I finish here. Then its shrink wrap time. Other than cleaning the eisenglass and putting stuff away, that will be it for the 2015 season. Not our longest, or best but not the worst either.

Same here, I talked to the marina guys and they said it takes days of below freezing continuously to really do anything. I did pull the boat out yesterday and winterize the water system, holding tank, A/C and generator. The engines are theirs to take care of in the coming weeks. I think the last hurricane caused a lot of early pull outs on boats so they are ahead of schedule on winterizing anyways.

I wouldn't worry about it right now. BTW my sister lives on Adamsville road in Westport. I was up there in August. Nice area!

Crazy to have this cold weather so soon. See you next year. I'm all winterized just waiting to wrap it up. When temps are over freezing in the day and dip low at night that's ok. When we get a few days of really cold temps then issues could start.
