Dynamic Links

Is anyone having trouble getting dynamic links to work? I tried to post a link to a photobucket picture and the URL copies, but does not create a dynamic link. I also noticed today that a posting by FrankW with a link for engine hatch struts was dead as well. Anyone having this problem?

You don't want a dynamic link to an off-site file. Static works best in that case. Dynamic is used for files all on the same site.

Sorry, non nerd attempting to nerd-speak.

What I meant was that when I pasted a URL string into a post it did not automatically convert to a working link like it usually does.

did it being with either http:// or www? If not, try the entire url including the protocol specification (http://....). If you did, then it's a.... software bug.
