Dual Engine Controls Recommendations

i need to replace my engine controls right now i have the commander 3000 dual engine controls for 02 350 mpi mercs the problem is the controls are incredibly stiff i have tried everything i can think of to fix the problem but they remain stiff i hope you guys can make some recommendations for me, thanks guys

Have you changed the shift / throttle cable for wear and binding.

If so; see MerCruiser Service Bulletin #96-13. Certain models of that control were recalled.

no but even when i take the control cables off the controls it is still very stiff, i had greased up all the parts with no change i think they are just worn out
